Who is Randy?

Randy addressing his legions of followers
Failed millionaire and artist, Randy has lived a very interesting life. Always found to be tempting the limits and pushing barriers in his professional life, while experiencing all of the pleasures of family living. Known for his eccentric behavior and unique view of life, the universe, and everything, most people find him pleasant to be around.

Born to a middle class family in North Carolina, Randy’s formative years were greatly affected by the Carter administration. With the coming of the Reagan years and the great Republican blight, he saw no other choice but to join his family on the road as a part of a traveling carnival. While his parents ran a successful concession business, Randy dressed as a clown and hand out smiles and balloons to his contemporaries.

After several years on the road the family settled down and Randy got his first tastes of school. Around age 13, Randy received his first computer, a second hand TRS-80 and began to learn how to program in Q-Basic. This was the beginning of an on-again\off-again relationship with technology that continues on to today.

Upon graduating from high school there was little support, either finically or morally, for Randy to continue his education so he was forced to join the working world. While working a job in the Electronics department of the world’s largest retailer and attending night classes at the local community college, the stress of the situation began to take it’s toll. After completing just enough of his computer science degree, Randy went off in search of greener pastures.

He found those working several jobs as a PC technician. After a time this work lacked challenge for him and he began to question his career path. Thankfully, that time with the TRS-80 came back to him and Randy set off to become Microsoft certified in Visual Basic.

In 1998, Randy attained his certification and his first real development job. Ever since Randy has being working as a contract developer and has worked on a range of projects from records management to Point-of-Sale. He currently works as internet developer for one of major entertainment companies in the world. He is patiently waiting on his promotion into middle management, while learning the game of golf.

Randy currently resides in obscurity with his wife, daughter, and son.
